Our Types of
Materials
At Industrial Guther, we provide a comprehensive service that includes cutting, machining, and finishing of industrial parts, always ensuring maximum quality and precision.
Steel
Stainless Steel 303
Stainless steel 303 is a variant of the 300 series with improved machinability due to the addition of sulfur. It is ideal for parts requiring high-precision machining, but it has lower corrosion resistance compared to grades 304 and 316. It is commonly used in bolts, nuts, and automotive components.
Stainless Steel 303
Stainless steel 304 is a highly corrosion-resistant chromium-nickel alloy and is widely used in industry. It is easy to weld and form, making it ideal for applications in the food, pharmaceutical, and construction industries. Its versatility makes it one of the most widely used stainless steels.
Stainless Steel 316
Stainless steel 316 contains molybdenum, which significantly improves its corrosion resistance, especially in marine environments or with aggressive chemicals. It is used in the naval, medical, and chemical industries, as well as in food and pharmaceutical processing equipment.
Steel A36
A36 steel is a low-carbon structural steel with good weldability and moderate mechanical strength. It is widely used in construction, manufacturing structures, bridges, and industrial components due to its machinability and formability.
Steel 1018
Steel 1018 is a low-carbon steel with excellent machinability, weldability, and ductility. It is used in shafts, bolts, gears, and precision machined components. It is a popular choice for parts requiring basic heat treatments.
Steel 1045
Steel 1045 is a medium-carbon steel with higher strength and hardness than 1018. It can be heat-treated to improve its mechanical properties. It is used in shafts, gears, crankshafts, and components that require higher wear resistance.
Steel 12L14
Steel 12L14 is a low-carbon steel with high lead content, which gives it excellent machinability. It is used in the manufacturing of high-precision machined parts, such as screws, bolts, and machinery components, where a high-quality surface finish is required.
Steel 4140
Steel 4140 is a medium-carbon alloy steel with chromium-molybdenum, which gives it high strength, toughness, and good response to heat treatment. It is used in shafts, gears, structural components, and parts subjected to high loads.
Tool Steel H13
H13 steel is a hot-working tool steel with high resistance to heat, thermal shock, and wear. It is used in molds for plastic injection, die-casting tools, and forging tools, as it maintains its hardness at high temperatures.
Tool Steel D2
D2 steel is a cold-working tool steel with high carbon and chromium content, giving it excellent wear resistance and good hardness. It is used in dies, industrial blades, and cutting tools that require high durability.
Tool Steel O1
O1 steel is a cold-working tool steel with good machinability and high hardness after heat treatment. It is used in dies, punches, and cutting tools, and is known for its ease of oil hardening.
Aluminum
Aluminum 6061
Aluminio 6063
Aluminum 6063 is an alloy with better surface finish and greater extrudability than 6061. It is mainly used in architectural profiles, window frames, and tubing, where good resistance and aesthetic appearance are required.
Aluminum 7075
Aluminum 7075 is a high-strength alloy with zinc as its primary alloying element. It has strength similar to some steels but is less resistant to corrosion. It is used in aerospace, automotive, and high-performance applications.
Aluminum MIC-6
MIC-6 aluminum is a casting alloy specially designed for precision plates with dimensional stability and excellent machinability. It is used in CNC machine bases, molds, and precision gauges.
Aluminum ALCA 5
ALCA 5 aluminum is similar to MIC-6 but manufactured with a different process to improve dimensional stability and reduce internal stress. It is used in precision applications such as machine tables and measuring tools.
Special Extrusions
Special aluminum extrusions are custom-designed profiles with specific shapes to optimize strength, weight, and functionality across various industries. They are used in industrial, architectural, and aerospace applications.
Other Materials
Nylamid (Cast Nylon)
Nylamid is a high-strength nylon with low friction coefficient and good wear resistance. It is used in gears, bushings, bearings, and industrial components that require durability and low weight.
Acetal (POM – Polyoxymethylene)
Acetal is an engineering plastic with excellent machinability, low moisture absorption, and high wear resistance. It is used in gears, rollers, bearings, and precision parts where dimensional stability is required.
Teflon (PTFE – Polytetrafluoroethylene)
Teflon is a plastic with high chemical resistance, excellent sliding capacity, and resistance to extreme temperatures. It is used in non-stick coatings, seals, gaskets, and electrical components.
G10 (Fiberglass with Epoxy Resin)
G10 is a fiberglass laminate with epoxy resin, known for its high mechanical strength, dielectric rigidity, and low moisture absorption. It is used in electrical insulators, structural components, and tool handles.
PEEK (Polyetheretherketone)
PEEK is a high-performance polymer with excellent thermal, chemical, and mechanical resistance. It is used in aerospace, medical, and automotive industries for parts exposed to high temperatures and aggressive environments.
